Spicy Black Bean Air Fryer Burgers
Mash black beans in a large bowl, leaving some texture. Sauté diced bell pepper and onion until soft.

- 400 g canned black beans, drained and rinsed
- 0.5 piece red bell pepper, finely diced
- 0.25 piece onion, finely diced
- 0.5 cup rolled oats
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 0.5 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tbsp lime juice
Steps
- Mash black beans in a large bowl, leaving some texture. Sauté diced bell pepper and onion until soft.
- Add sautéed vegetables, rolled oats, chili powder, ground cumin, and lime juice to the mashed beans. Mix thoroughly until combined.
- Form the mixture into 4 burger patties.
- Preheat air fryer to 190°C. Place patties in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Air fry for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway, until heated through and slightly crispy.
