Savory Herb Garlic Crackers
In a food processor, combine flour, dried herbs, garlic powder, and salt. Pulse briefly.
Ingredients
- 150 g All-purpose flour
- 50 g Cold butter, cubed
- 2 tbsp Ice water (approx.)
- 1 tsp Dried mixed herbs (e.g., oregano, thyme)
- 0.5 tsp Garlic powder
- 0.5 tsp Salt
Steps
- In a food processor, combine flour, dried herbs, garlic powder, and salt. Pulse briefly.
- Add cold butter cubes and pulse until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Gradually add ice water, one tablespoon at a time, pulsing until the dough just comes together.
- Form the dough into a disc, wrap in plastic wrap, and chill in the refrigerator for 20 minutes.
- On a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough very thinly (about 1-2 mm). Cut into desired shapes (squares, rectangles) and prick each cracker with a fork.
- Preheat air fryer to 170°C. Place crackers in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Air fry for 8-10 minutes, flipping once, until golden brown and crispy. Cook in batches.
- Let cool completely on a wire rack before serving. They will crisp up further as they cool.
