Fish sticks
Cut fish fillets into sticks. Season with salt and pepper. Coat in flour, then beaten egg, then breadcrumbs (mixed with a little paprika if you like).
Ingredients
- 400 g white fish fillets (cod, haddock or similar)
- 3 tbsp plain flour
- 1 piece egg, beaten
- 80 g breadcrumbs
- 0.5 tsp paprika
- 2 tbsp olive oil or spray
- 0.25 tsp salt
Steps
- Cut fish fillets into sticks. Season with salt and pepper. Coat in flour, then beaten egg, then breadcrumbs (mixed with a little paprika if you like).
- Arrange fish sticks in air fryer basket in a single layer. Lightly spray or brush with oil.
- Air fry at 200°C for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crisp. Serve with lemon wedges and tartar sauce or mayo.
