Crunchy Beetroot Chips
Wash, peel, and very thinly slice the beetroots using a mandoline or a sharp knife (about 1-2 mm thick).
Ingredients
- 2 pcs Medium beetroots, peeled
- 1 tbsp Olive oil
- 0.5 tsp Salt
- 0.25 tsp Garlic powder (optional)
Steps
- Wash, peel, and very thinly slice the beetroots using a mandoline or a sharp knife (about 1-2 mm thick).
- In a bowl, toss the beetroot slices with olive oil, salt, and garlic powder (if using) until evenly coated.
- Arrange the slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring not to overlap. Cook in batches if necessary.
- Air fry at 150°C for 18-20 minutes, flipping halfway through. Keep a close eye on them during the last few minutes, as they can burn quickly.
- Remove from the air fryer and let cool completely on a wire rack. They will become crispier as they cool. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container.
