Crispy Sweet Potato Chips
Wash and peel the sweet potato. Using a mandoline or a very sharp knife, slice the sweet potato into very thin rounds (about 1-2 mm thick).
Ingredients
- 1 pcs Large sweet potato
- 1 tbsp Olive oil
- 0.5 tsp Salt
- 0.25 tsp Black pepper
Steps
- Wash and peel the sweet potato. Using a mandoline or a very sharp knife, slice the sweet potato into very thin rounds (about 1-2 mm thick).
- In a medium bowl, toss the sweet potato slices with olive oil, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
- Arrange the slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring not to overcrowd. Cook in batches if necessary.
- Air fry at 160°C for 15-18 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy and golden brown. Keep a close eye on them to prevent burning.
- Remove from the air fryer and let cool slightly before serving. They will crisp up more as they cool.
