Crispy Air Fryer Calamari Rings
Set up a dredging station with three shallow bowls: one with flour, one with beaten egg, and one with panko breadcrumbs mixed with salt and pepper.

- 400 g calamari rings, thawed and patted dry
- 0.5 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 piece large egg, beaten
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 0.5 tsp salt
- 0.25 tsp black pepper
- q.s. piece olive oil spray
Steps
- Set up a dredging station with three shallow bowls: one with flour, one with beaten egg, and one with panko breadcrumbs mixed with salt and pepper.
- Dip each calamari ring first in flour, then in egg, then coat thoroughly in the panko mixture.
- Preheat your air fryer to 190°C (375°F).
- Lightly spray the breaded calamari with olive oil. Place in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway, until golden brown and crispy. Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.
