Air Fryer Strawberry Hand Pies
In a bowl, combine diced strawberries, sugar, cornstarch, and lemon juice. Mix gently and set aside.
Ingredients
- 1 sheet refrigerated pie crust
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, diced
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1 piece egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Steps
- In a bowl, combine diced strawberries, sugar, cornstarch, and lemon juice. Mix gently and set aside.
- Unroll the pie crust and cut out 4 equal rectangles or circles (about 10x15 cm or 12 cm diameter).
- Place a spoonful of the strawberry filling onto one half of each pastry shape, leaving a border.
- Fold the other half of the pastry over the filling and crimp the edges with a fork to seal.
- Cut a few small slits on top of each hand pie for venting. Brush with beaten egg.
- Air fry at 170°C for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown and the filling is bubbly. Let cool slightly before serving.
