Air Fryer Spiced Tempeh Strips
Cut the tempeh block into thin strips (about 0.5 cm thick).
Ingredients
- 250 g tempeh
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 0.5 tsp cumin powder
- 0.5 tsp garlic powder
- 0.25 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)

Steps
- Cut the tempeh block into thin strips (about 0.5 cm thick).
- In a medium bowl, whisk together olive oil, smoked paprika, cumin powder, garlic powder, cayenne pepper (if using), salt, and pepper.
- Add the tempeh strips to the bowl and toss to ensure they are evenly coated with the spice mixture.
- Preheat air fryer to 180°C. Arrange tempeh strips in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy and golden brown.
