Air Fryer Mini Apple Turnovers
Unroll the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface. Cut into 4-6 equal squares.
Ingredients
- 1 sheet Puff pastry, thawed
- 1 cup Apple pie filling, diced
- 1 Large egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- 1 tbsp Granulated sugar
- 1 tsp Ground cinnamon
Steps
- Unroll the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface. Cut into 4-6 equal squares.
- Place a spoonful of diced apple pie filling on one half of each square.
- Fold the other half of the pastry over the filling to form a triangle or rectangle. Crimp the edges with a fork to seal.
- In a small bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon. Brush each turnover with egg wash and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
- Place turnovers in a single layer in the air fryer basket (work in batches if necessary).
- Cook at 180°C for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed. Serve warm.
