Air Fryer Individual Potato & Leek Gratins
Preheat your air fryer to 170°C (340°F).
Ingredients
- 2 piece medium potatoes, thinly sliced
- 1 piece small leek, thinly sliced
- 120 ml heavy cream
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 50 g Gruyere cheese, grated
- 0.5 tsp salt
- 0.25 tsp black pepper
- pinch piece nutmeg
Steps
- Preheat your air fryer to 170°C (340°F).
- In a small bowl, whisk together heavy cream, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
- Lightly grease two small oven-safe ramekins (approx. 150-200ml capacity).
- Layer potato slices, leek slices, and a sprinkle of Gruyere cheese in the ramekins. Pour a portion of the cream mixture over each layer, repeating until ramekins are full, ending with cheese on top.
- Place the ramekins in the air fryer basket. Cook for 25-30 minutes, or until potatoes are tender and the top is golden brown and bubbly. You may need to cover loosely with foil for the last 10 minutes if browning too quickly.
