Air Fryer Herb-Garlic Rainbow Trout
Rinse trout under cold water and pat dry thoroughly, inside and out. Season generously with salt and pepper.
Ingredients
- 2 whole Rainbow trout, gutted
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 1 tbsp Mixed dried herbs (e.g., parsley, thyme, oregano)
- 2 clove Garlic, minced
- 0.5 piece Lemon, sliced
- to taste piece Salt and black pepper
Steps
- Rinse trout under cold water and pat dry thoroughly, inside and out. Season generously with salt and pepper.
- In a small bowl, combine olive oil, mixed dried herbs, and minced garlic. Brush this mixture all over the trout, including the cavity.
- Stuff the trout cavity with a few lemon slices.
- Preheat air fryer to 180°C. Place the trout in the air fryer basket in a single layer (cook in batches if necessary).
- Air fry for 10-14 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through, skin is crispy, and flesh flakes easily. Serve with fresh lemon.
