Air Fryer Blackened Cod Fillets
Pat cod fillets dry with paper towels. Season lightly with salt and pepper.
Ingredients
- 300 g Cod fillets
- 1 tbsp Olive oil
- 1 tbsp Blackening seasoning
- 0.5 tsp Smoked paprika
- 0.5 tsp Onion powder
- to taste piece Salt and black pepper
Steps
- Pat cod fillets dry with paper towels. Season lightly with salt and pepper.
- In a small bowl, combine blackening seasoning, smoked paprika, and onion powder.
- Brush each cod fillet with olive oil, then generously coat with the spice mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
- Preheat air fryer to 200°C. Place the seasoned cod fillets in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Air fry for 8-10 minutes, or until the cod is opaque, flakes easily, and has a nice dark crust. Serve immediately.
